Paneer Recipe without Onion And Garlic For Weight Loss

The recipe of paneer without onion and garlic is for those who love having paneer but are definitely afraid of gaining weight with it. Paneer contains a good amount of proteins, calcium, carbohydrates, minerals, and fats in it but the type of fat it contains is mostly good fat. If you only know how to cook paneer properly, everything is perfect for you.

Given below is the recipe of paneer without onion and garlic

Paneer without onion and garlic Recipe Ingredients:

  • Paneer 250 grams
  • Curd 1.5 tablespoon
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato 1
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 2.5teaspoons
  • Green chillies 3  pieces
  • Refined oil 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon 1 inch
  • Cloves 5 to 6 pieces
  • Cardamom (small) 2 pieces
  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Gram flour 1 tablespoon
  • Fenugreek or kasuri methi 1 teaspoon

How to shape paneer for the recipe:

Take 250grams of paneer and cut them into proper cylindrical sizes.

Then keep the uniformly cut pieces in a separate glass bowl. Therefore, add salt (as per taste), 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/4 kashmiri red chilli powder in it. Mix all the ingredients with the pieces of paneer.

Preparation Of Gravy:

In order to make the gravy take 3 green chillies, 1 inch ginger and 1 tomato. Thereafter, put these ingredients in a mixing jar and make a paste. After that, pour the paste in a separate bowl.

 

The proper way to fry paneer cubes:

Take a nonstick cookware and put it in the gas oven. Therefore, pour 1/2 cup of water in it. Always try to keep the flame of the gas oven in low to medium heat. Let the water boil for a couple of minutes.

On the other hand, put another stick cookware in the other oven and pour 1.5 table spoon refined oil in it. As soon as the oil gets warm, fry those pieces of paneer  ( smeared with salt and turmeric).Do not fry deep these pieces.

Now collect these fried pieces and pour them in the mildly boiling water. In this way, the pieces of paneer will become softer. Switch off the gas oven

 How to prepare Masala Mix:

In the next step you are advised to add 1-inch cinnamon, 2 cardamoms  ( slightly crushed), 5-6 cloves in the same non stick cookware which is used to fry the paneer pieces.

There is no need to add additional refined oil in it. Switch on the gas oven and keep the flame low. Therefore, fry these ingredients for a couple of minutes. As a result, a mild scent of the fried spices will come out.  Then you have to add ginger and green chilli paste in it. Fry them together for a couple of minutes. After that, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, remaining kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder and 1 teaspoon coriander powder should be added to it. Fry all the ingredients together for a couple of minutes more. Masala mix for the paneer is ready.

Preparation Of Curd:

Take a glass bowl and pour 1.5tablespoon curd in it. Therefore, add 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon gram flour in it and stir these ingredients with the curd with the help of a spoon. Curd is ready.

Finally, pour the curd mixture in the masala mixture. Then pour carefully all the fried paneer pieces in it. Always try to keep the flame of the gas oven in low flame. Then cook these mixtures together for 5 -6 minutes.

After 6 minutes, take a lid and cover it .wait for 4 minutes. Switch off the gas oven.

Uncover the lid exactly after 4 minutes. In the end, add kasuri methi  ( fenugreek) powder in it and mix well.

Paneer without onion and garlic is ready. Serve hot.
